If the customer is under 18, they must obtain permission from a parent or another person of authority.
3. PAYMENT
Michaelbo.studio accepts Dankort, VISA/Dankort, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro through Stripe payment service. For debit or credit card payments, the customer must enter all necessary card information and, for 3D Secure transactions, the security code. All information is securely transmitted to michaelbo.studio via an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection, ensuring that no unauthorized sources can access customer data. Michaelbo.studio does not store customer credit card information after the transaction is completed.
The amount will not be charged to your card until your order has been dispatched.
As michaelbo.studio sells works of art, original artworks and limited editions are listed with 5% Danish Artist VAT included. Where as regular standard products are listed with 25% VAT included. An invoice with the VAT registered will be send on email along with your order confirmation.
Prices are shown without shipping costs or other services that michaelbo.studio may offer. michaelbo.studio reserves the right to change prices at any time. On michaelbo.studio prices are shown in Euro (EUR).
4. LOCAL LEVIES
Please be aware that local import duties vary by country and region and are the responsibility of the customer to pay.
5. VAT EXEMPT PURCHASES (FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF THE EU)
All original artworks and limited editions are listed with 5% Danish Artist VAT included. Where as regular standard products are listed with 25% VAT included. For example t-shirts which are not part of a limited edition. An invoice with the VAT registered will be send on email along with your order confirmation.
When shopping from outside the EU the VAT will be removed, please get in contact for non EU orders.
Some countries might be subject for import taxes and customs which are the responsibility of the customer. These charges aredetermined by the tax authorities in your country.
Prices do not include payment or delivery charges.
6. RETURN RIGHTS
As a consumer, you have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it.
This 14-day period begins the day you receive your order. If you ordered multiple items and they are delivered separately, the period starts from the day you received the last item.
You cannot cancel your purchase by refusing the delivery unless you notify us via email at hello@michaelbo.studio.
Returning the goods
If you have purchased multiple items, you can return any or all of them, even if they were bought in a single order.
Once you have informed us of your decision to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to return the goods.
Order shipments do not include a return label, and the cost of return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the products are damaged, as explained in section 7 (CLAIMS).
For international returns, we strongly recommend using a traceable service so the shipment can be tracked at all times. Please keep the receipt of the return shipment until the product is received and refunded by michaelbo.studio. We only accept returns sent directly to the following address:

Please make sure to write "Att: RETURN" on the outside of the package to facilitate smooth transit through customs. Failure to include this information may cause delays in processing your return and, in the worst case, result in the customs office sending the package back to your address.
Condition of returned items
If the value of an artwork is diminished due to handling beyond what was necessary to unpack and inspect it, only a partial refund will be issued. The refundable amount will depend on the item's resale value, and in some cases, only the shipping charges may be refundable.
We recommend returning the item in its original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the item's value.
Refunds of purchase
If you cancel a purchase, you will receive a refund. However, if the item’s value has been reduced, we will deduct the amount for which you are liable.
We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional delivery costs if you chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notification.
Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed upon.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item or until you provide documentation proving the item has been returned.
7. CLAIMS
Warranty and Consumer Rights
When you trade with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. This means all factory-produced items bought on michaelbo.studio come with a 2-year manufacturing warranty. Complaints must be made within a "reasonable time" after discovering a defect. Complaints made within two months of discovering a defect are always considered within a reasonable time.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or incorrect, so we can address the issue promptly. If your product arrives damaged, we will cover all return expenses regardless of your location. You can choose to have a replacement sent (if possible) once we receive the damaged or incorrect item, or receive a partial or full refund depending on the extent of the damage.
Start by emailing us at hello@michaelbo.studio with as many details as possible about the defect. Include your order number and a few pictures of the faulty item. We will work to resolve the issue and process your claim as quickly as possible.
IMPORTANT
Please note that we primarily sell handmade artworks created in our studio. Unlike mass-produced products, handmade artworks on paper may exhibit minor irregularities, tiny scratches, stains and should be considered natural and charming aspects of the handmade process rather than defects. Nonetheless, we value customer satisfaction and treat all complaints seriously.
8. SHIPPING
All orders are sent insured from Copenhagen, Denmark in quality cardboard envelopes or tubes, depending on artwork size. All artwork are sold unframed.
Estimated delivery time between 3 - 10 business days from shipping date. Orders are shipped with tracking using Post Nord or GLS.

All payments via Stripe, the world’s leading secure payment service, michaelbo.studio do not have access to, or store the customers card details. All payments are charged at the current exchange rate.
